Clips of customer service interactions are then shown. Clips of new stores are then shown. Supplier interactions are then discussed and shown. Product development and health and safety procedures clips are briefly shown. Staff benefits are discussed and clips of staff praising the environment and relationships are shown. Lord Sieff's humorous speech refers to the store managers as the ambassadors of the company. Brian Howard is mentioned about redistributing company stock. He advises managers to be critical of the counters and to make sure they are only stocking what is appropriate to their business. Mr R. A. Macintyre's Inverness store is mentioned as being outstanding. He wants the managers to cut down the number of complaints letters about service and goods and asking the managers to embrace the Marks and Spencer spirit. Mr Macintyre thanks Lord Sieff, mentions that whilst the managers may make the stores the chairmen make the company. Presents Lord Sieff with a gift of cherry wood inscribed with all the names of the store managers and comments how much he has been appreciated over the 14 years he has been "Our Chairman".
